Cot Mattress & Bedding

Your baby will be fine in a bassinet for a few weeks but you will then need a cot that conforms to current safety standards. You will also need a good supply of cot-sized sheets and blankets that can be firmly stretched and fitted around the mattress.

Diapers

The choice between cloth diapers and disposable diapers is a matter of personal preference. If you don't mind doing a lot of washing, cloth diapers might work for you. Otherwise, you may choose disposable diapers. Either way, you will need a lot of them. The minimum number you should keep on hand is about two dozen.
